EVENT CANCELLED

The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is no longer a part of the Formula 1 calendar and information on this page may no longer be accurate.

Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari. It doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue. But there is another word the by which the circuit is known. A word which, for F1 fans conjures up stories of F1 legends – of infamous duels, triumphs and tragedies that are part of the fabric of our sport. That word is Imola.

F1’s return to this classic circuit is a welcome comeback. It comes at a time when every empty slot on an ever-expanding calendar seems to go to the most deep-pocketed, and often controversial, bidder.

But Middle-Eastern dustbowls and style-over-substance street circuits can’t compete with old favourites. The Italian circuit’s old-school charm and proper motor racing credentials are always a winner with the fans.

But all that history and charm isn’t worth much if it doesn’t provide the spectator experience to back it up. Luckily for us, Imola does that in spades. In fact for grandstand views, ease of access and a world-class location, Imola is the Grand Prix venue that has it all.

Weather & Climate

Imola Weather

At this time of year the weather in Imola is at its most pleasant. With an average daytime temperature of about 23°C, it’s rarely chilly and neither is it too hot. Rain is unlikely but pack a light waterproof jacket for the track just in case.
